David Barrett, R.I.P. It is with great regret that we have to announce the death on, July 9th, of Mr David Barrett, founder of the Croydon Circle of the Newman Association. His tireless work for a large number of Catholic organisations including the Catenians, the Catholic Unity Commission, Churches Together, the Deanery Pastoral Council and the Catholic Chaplaincy of Brixton Prison in addition to the Newman Association will long be remembered. His funeral was at St Columba’s Church, Selsdon on August 12th. |
